I've also found that any time I can measure first (marking my row with a twist tie) and bring my roll and tool to a table that my joints are much happier and I can make a faster and more straight cut. I can stand at the table and steady everything against the table. The table just needs to come out from a wall or building enough to drape the materials over it.
No one likes to cut chicken wire or hardware cloth, ha, but what's your favorite method? Have you found a cordless tool you prefer for areas you can't reach with a cord?
